1. Scope
These Guest Terms are a binding agreement between you and Wasla Weddings LLC, trading as “Wasla” (“Wasla”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They apply when you use a Wasla wedding website, personal invitation, shared invitation link, guest verification flow, RSVP, meal or dietary form, guest message, media upload or another guest-facing feature. You normally use these features as a wedding guest rather than as a Wasla customer.
By completing a guest action that requires acceptance, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Guest Terms.
2. Invitation and access
Wedding invitation links, personal invitation links, shared links, QR codes and other access methods may be intended for a particular guest, group or wedding. Do not intentionally use a credential that you know was not meant for you or share a personal invitation credential in a way that allows another person to impersonate you.
Wasla may use phone verification or another verification method to confirm that a guest is entitled to continue. Verification helps protect the wedding and guest list but does not constitute a government identity check.
3. Information you submit
You must provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. This may include your name, phone number, RSVP response, plus-one information, event attendance, meal choice, dietary information, messages or media.
If you submit information for a plus-one, child or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to provide that information and, where required, to act on that person’s behalf.
4. RSVP and wedding information
Wasla displays information supplied or approved by the couple and their authorized collaborators. Event times, locations, eligibility, dress guidance, seating and other wedding details may change. Check the wedding’s current Wasla page or contact the couple or organizer if information is critical.
An RSVP submitted through Wasla records your response in the wedding workspace. The couple or authorized collaborators may be able to update, correct or record responses where the product allows.
5. Phone verification and third-party verification
Guest verification may be provided through a third-party verification service. You may be asked to enter or confirm your phone number and complete a verification step in the provider’s interface. Carrier, provider or network delays may occur.
You must not attempt to bypass verification, reuse another person’s verified session, automate OTP requests abusively or interfere with the verification provider.
6. Dietary and other sensitive information
Where a wedding asks for allergies, dietary restrictions or similar information, provide only information that is relevant to the event. This information may be made available to the couple and authorized wedding collaborators for coordination purposes.
Wasla is not a medical service. Dietary information submitted through Wasla does not guarantee that a venue or caterer can safely accommodate an allergy or medical condition. For serious allergies or health risks, communicate directly with the couple, venue or caterer as appropriate.
7. Guest content and uploads
If guest uploads are enabled, you retain rights in content you upload subject to third-party rights. You grant Wasla the limited licence required to store, process, resize, transcode, display and deliver the content within the wedding service.
Do not upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, obscene, infringing or privacy-invasive material, or content you do not have the right to share. Do not upload another person’s sensitive or private content without appropriate permission.
8. Acceptable use and conduct
Use the guest experience respectfully and only in connection with the wedding. Do not harass the couple or other guests, impersonate someone else, probe private guest information, interfere with security, distribute malware, scrape private data or use invitation credentials for unauthorized purposes.
9. Privacy
Wasla processes guest information according to its Privacy Notice and applicable Egyptian personal-data legislation. The couple and authorized collaborators may also receive or access information you submit for the purpose of organizing the wedding.
Where applicable, you may exercise data-subject rights through the channels described in the Privacy Notice. Certain information may need to be retained for legal, security, dispute-resolution or legitimate operational purposes.
10. Availability and third-party services
Guest access may depend on internet, hosting, phone-verification, maps, media hosting and other third-party services. Temporary unavailability may occur.
Wasla is a wedding-coordination platform. It is not the venue, caterer, transportation provider, emergency service or event organizer unless expressly stated otherwise.
11. Changes, suspension and termination
Wasla may restrict a guest session or submission where reasonably necessary to protect the wedding, prevent abuse, respond to security concerns or comply with law. The couple may also close RSVP or guest interaction according to the wedding’s settings.
Wasla may update these Guest Terms. Where a new acceptance is required for a future substantive guest action, the product may ask you to accept the then-current version.
12. Liability
Wasla provides the guest experience with the care required by applicable law but does not independently guarantee the accuracy of wedding information supplied by the couple or third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
You remain responsible for decisions you make based on event information and for taking reasonable precautions regarding travel, health, allergies, personal safety and valuables.
13. Governing law and support
These Guest Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes are subject to the competent Egyptian courts as determined by applicable law.
For questions about Wasla itself, contact cs@waslaweddings.com. Questions about the wedding, invitation status, seating, venue arrangements or event decisions should normally be directed to the couple or their organizer.
The Arabic and English versions are intended to express the same agreement. If an inconsistency arises between them, the Arabic version will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
