1. Scope
These Platform User Terms are a binding agreement between you and Wasla Weddings LLC, trading as “Wasla” (“Wasla”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They apply when you use Wasla as an invited second owner, editor, collaborator, planner acting inside a wedding workspace, or another authenticated user who has been granted access to a wedding that they did not purchase in their own capacity. They do not replace the Customer Terms agreed by the purchasing wedding owner.
By accepting a collaboration invitation or otherwise activating a role to which these Terms apply, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.
2. Invitation and role
Your access arises from a role granted through Wasla’s invitation and membership system. The role recorded by Wasla determines your permissions. A wedding owner may add, remove or change collaborators where the product permits, and your access may end when your membership is removed, when the wedding expires, or when the service is otherwise terminated.
You must not represent that you hold permissions that Wasla has not granted to your account.
3. Account and security
Use only your own account and authentication methods. Do not share login credentials or invitation links in a way that permits another person to act as you. Notify Wasla promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Wasla may require renewed authentication or additional security checks before sensitive actions.
4. Authorized use of wedding information
You may access wedding and guest information only for the legitimate purposes for which the wedding owner granted you access. You must respect the scope of your role, the instructions of the wedding owner and applicable law.
You may not copy, export, retain, sell, disclose or use guest information for independent marketing, unrelated events, personal solicitation or any purpose outside the authorized wedding workflow, except where the law independently permits or requires it.
5. Guest confidentiality
Guest lists, phone numbers, attendance choices, event eligibility, seating information, dietary responses, messages and other guest records may contain personal or confidential information. Treat them as confidential and use appropriate care when viewing, downloading or sharing them.
If you download information outside Wasla, you are responsible for securing that copy and deleting it when it is no longer needed for the authorized purpose, subject to applicable law and the wedding owner’s instructions.
6. Actions taken in the workspace
Actions you perform through your account may change information visible to the couple or guests. You are responsible for the accuracy of changes you make and for exercising appropriate care before publishing, deleting, inviting, exporting or otherwise modifying wedding information.
Where Wasla identifies an action as owner-only, editor-only, administrative or otherwise restricted, you may not attempt to bypass that restriction.
7. Content
You retain rights in content you personally create and lawfully own. By uploading content to the wedding, you grant Wasla the limited technical licence needed to provide the service, including hosting, processing, resizing, transcoding, caching, transmitting and displaying that content for the wedding.
You confirm that material you upload does not infringe another person’s rights and that you have any permission required from the wedding owner or relevant rights holder.
8. No purchasing authority unless granted
Being an editor, planner or collaborator does not give you authority to purchase, change billing, approve payment, incur charges or bind the wedding owner unless Wasla expressly provides that permission and the owner has authorized it.
Where you are invited as a second owner, the product may grant broad wedding-management authority. Commercial authority remains subject to the actual controls exposed by Wasla and any applicable agreement.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must not access another wedding without authorization; harvest guest data; use the service for fraud, harassment or unlawful surveillance; upload malware; interfere with security; impersonate another user; or use information obtained through Wasla in a manner that violates law or the rights of the couple, guests or third parties.
10. Privacy
Wasla processes your account and usage data according to its Privacy Notice. Your own handling of wedding or guest information may also create legal obligations for you or for the person or organization on whose behalf you act.
If you act for a planner, venue or other organization, you must follow that organization’s lawful instructions and any applicable Partner Terms or data-processing agreement.
11. Suspension, removal and leaving
A wedding owner may remove a collaborator in accordance with the product’s permissions. Wasla may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or a material breach of these Terms.
Where the product permits an editor to leave a wedding, leaving ends that membership but does not erase actions already performed or records that Wasla is required or entitled to retain.
12. Platform availability and third parties
Platform access may depend on internet, hosting, authentication, email, verification and other third-party services. Wasla does not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a separate written service-level commitment applies.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms for the services they independently provide.
13. Liability
You are responsible for losses caused by your unlawful use, misuse of confidential information, deliberate circumvention of access controls or infringement of third-party rights, to the extent established under applicable law.
Wasla’s liability is subject to applicable law and the limitations lawfully stated in the Customer Terms where relevant to the platform service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Changes to these Terms
Wasla may publish updated Platform User Terms. A future invitation may require acceptance of the then-current version. Existing access will not be silently terminated solely because a new version is published unless Wasla provides a lawful re-acceptance process or the change must apply by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes are submitted to the competent Egyptian courts as determined by applicable law, without prejudice to mandatory rights.
The Arabic and English versions are intended to express the same agreement. If an inconsistency arises between them, the Arabic version will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
